Artists Upload Music

Unlike Spotify, Artists have the ability to directly upload music to Fignotes. Simply upload music (at least one master and one derivative) in any format, and let Fignotes take care of the rest. Fignotes will handle all of the conversion, splitting, and compression. Artists can add as many derivatives as you want, the only requirement is that the derivatives must be the same length and BPM as the master recording. Select whether you want your music to be available via search or station only.

Music Fans Hit Play

Fignotes is the best free alternative to Spotify. Wherever you are in the app, the music is only one tap away. Music fans simply have to hit play and they're instantly able to stream a song with a blend of the master and derivative elements. Fans will have the ability to search for songs/artists they like, or listen to stations to find new favorites. Our service is free for everyone and available via Web App, with an iPhone and Android app to be released shortly. Spotify's free version restricts mobile to shuffle mode only, but Fignotes allows full access on our free mobile apps.

Unlimited Skips, Unlimited Possibilities

Spotify's free tier restricts the number of times you can skip a song on mobile, but Fignotes provides unlimited skips. Fans have the ability to engage with songs by hitting a clap/applaud button during parts that they enjoy, create playlists, easily share songs, as well as the ability to skip songs as much as they want. Artists will be able to see this engagement via their dashboard and use this data to make their music even better. All artists on the service receive royalty payments from Fignotes.
